The feelings that I had during this painting was self-assurance as I felt that I understood the origin of strength within me. I realized what my body went through and why.
The texture in this painting is linear and holds struggle and constraint. While fractured appearances of gold is spread about, it reminds me of the transformation I have made. I have gone from holding and preserving all intense pain and worries to letting go and allowing my mind and body to be free. The tones of blues emulate acceptance and growth.
