This work emerged from a moment of self-assurance, and a deeper understanding of the strength held within me. In creating it, I began to recognize what my body had endured and how those experiences shaped the person I have become.
The curved textures evoke struggle, restriction, and the weight of emotions held for too long. Fractured passages of gold appear throughout the composition and symbolize transformation. A transformation revealing light within what was once broken. The layered blue tones express acceptance, healing, and growth, tracing a journey from preserving pain and worry to releasing them. This allowes both mind and body to move toward freedom.
